Zachary L. Catanzaro, Esq.

Zachary L. Catanzaro provides general counsel representation to small business owners and entrepreneurs with a focus on intellectual property, emergent cyber-technologies, and regulatory compliance and enforcement proceedings.

Zachary is an Adjunct Professor at St. Thomas University School of Law, where he teaches Blockchain & Cryptocurrency Law as part of the school's Intellectual Property Certificate Program.

Education

Zachary graduated magna cum laude with a Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University School of Law, where he was Articles Editor of the St. Thomas Law Review. He holds two bachelor degrees from Florida Atlantic University, in Entrepreneurial Management and Marketing and a minor in classical music performance on the trumpet.

 

Zachary was a distinguished law student, having interned for the Honorable Justice James E.C. Perry (ret.) of the Florida Supreme Court, the Honorable Magistrate Barry S. Seltzer (ret.) of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, the Miami-Dade State Attorney's Office, and for Kain Spielman PA, a complex intellectual property litigation boutique located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In addition to multiple dean's list awards, he received best student awards in the areas of Antitrust, Trade Secrets, Intellectual Property, Constitutional Law (Bill of Rights), Criminal Law, and Civil Procedure I and II.
